This paper analyzes the advantages of the course “Remote Sensing Technology and Image Processing”. We takes the academic postgraduate course “Remote Sensing Technology and Image Processing” as an example, analyzes the advantages of the course in educating people through thinking and politics, formulates a weekly calendar for teaching in the course, carefully designs the integration of thinking and politics elements, makes full use of many teaching methods, dynamically updates the “thinking and politics material library”, builds a hybrid teaching mode of “online + offline”, and establishes a course assessment system appropriate to the course. These practices can achieve the objectives of nurturing morality in professional courses, infiltrating socialist core values and achieving a win-win situation for both teachers and students.
